3 nights' Cairo, 4 nights’ cruise



Day 1

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival to the airport, you will be greeted and aided by one of Egy Go Travel’s agent. You will then be transported to your hotel to smoothly check in. overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, Egy Go Travel’s Egyptologist will pick you up to visit the Pyramids of Giza, The last remaining wonder of the ancient world; for nearly 4000 years(2640 B.C), .You will have the chance to go inside the pyramids (optional with extra fees ). Then you will be taken to the highest point of the desert plateau to catch up the picture of the three pyramids together where you can enjoy the camel ride(extra fee) . Heading to the valley temple of king khephren the owner of the most famous statue on the planet the sphinx (2500 B.C).Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Continuing our tour after that to Sakkara, to visit the Sakkara Complex (2750 B.C) which is covering a 7km stretch of the Western Desert. The Step Pyramid of Zoser is the oldest and the first major stone structure in the world (Built by King Djoser from the 3rd Dynasty 2750 B.C.). Proceeding the tour to Memphis Museum 7 km from sakkara, the only remaining evidence of Memphis is this noteworthy open-air museum, built around a magnificent fallen colossal limestone statue of Ramses II. You will then be transferred back to the hotel to overnight in Cairo.

Day 3

Following breakfast, our Egyptologist will commence your program with The Egyptian Museum .This famous museum houses the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts (more than 120,000 items on display) featuring the famous Tutankhamun collection with its beautiful famous golden mask 20 kg of pure gold. Lunch at a local restaurant. Heading to Islamic Cairo, starting with exploring Salah El Din Citadel (1265 A.D) and visualizing its famous Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside (1805 A.C.) Finalizing our day with visiting Khan EL Khalili Bazzar which is the oldest and richest bazzar. You will then be taken back to the hotel .overnight.

Day 4

After breakfast and checkout, you will then be transferred to the Cairo International Airport to commence your journey of exploring a home to one third the world’s antiques; Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be aided by an Egy Go Travel’s agent whom will escort your to the Nile cruise ship. Lunch on-board, then you will start your tour with the east bank beginning with The Karnak Temple or Karnak Complex, comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings near Luxor .The Construction at the complex began (around 2000–1700 BC) and continued into the Ptolemaic Period (305–30 BC). The complex contains the largest hypostyle halls all over the world 134 columns (18 meters high each). The visit will take about 2 hours.
Proceeding to Luxor Temple ,it is a large ancient Egyptian complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in the city today known as Luxor (ancient Thebes) and was constructed approximately 1400 B.C. In the Egyptian Language it is known as ipet resyt, "the southern sanctuary".
To the rear of the temple are chapels built by Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty, and Alexander the Great. Other parts of the temple were built by Tutankhamun and Ramses II. Wrapping up your day with dinner on-board.

Day 5

An early breakfast on board will be served followed by a visit to the west bank commencing with “The Valley of the Kings” ,the cemetery of those royal kings ruled Egypt fm 1400 to 300 B.C contains 63 tombs cut in the mountain beautifully colored & intact. You will be able to visit the interior of three of them (included in the ticket) advised by your Egyptologist. Some tombs need extra fees such as Tutankhamun & Seti I tomb. Moving afterwards to The Hatshepsut Temple (El Deir El Bahary) .Hatshepsut was the fifth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. She was the second historically confirmed female pharaoh, came to the throne of Egypt in 1478 BC. The temple is considered an exceptional site because of its symmetric construction and more importantly the story of the queen herself. On the way back to the ship, you will pass by the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III known as The Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be served on-board while sailing to Esna. Arrive to Esna city and enjoy the experience of passing through Esna lock.Sailing to Edfu .Dinner on board. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 6

Breakfast on-board, afterwards you will get to visit the Temple of Edfu (by horse carriage). This Ptolemaic temple, built between 237 and 57 BC, is one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Egypt, reserved by desert sand. The temple is dedicated to Horus (the falcon headed God).Back to the ship. Lunch on board. Sailing to the city of Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo , one of the Nile Valley's most beautifully sited temples. Unique in Egypt, it is dedicated to two gods; the local crocodile god Sobek, Horus the Elder. Dinner will be served on-board while sailing to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 7

Breakfast on-board, followed by a full day of sightseeing in Aswan. Starting with a nice visit to The High Dam, a rock fill dam across the River Nile at Aswan, completed in 1970 (and formally inaugurated in January 1971) The dam is 364 feet (111 meters) high, with a crest length of 12,562 feet (3,830 meters) and a volume of 57,940,000 cubic yards (44,300,000 cubic meters), impounds a reservoir, Lake Nasser, that has a gross capacity of 5.97 trillion cubic feet (169 billion cubic meters .After that start our small voyage on a motor boat to visit the majestic Philae Temple, built to honor the goddess Isis, this was the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. Construction began around 690 BC, and it was one of the last outposts where the goddess was worshipped. The cult of Isis continued here until at least AD 550.Lunch on board. Afternoon, time at leisure. Dinner on-board. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 8

Breakfast then check out from the Nile cruise heading to Aswan International Airport to catch your flight to Cairo, connection to your safely flight, Back home.
